White Light Night has been a staple of Mid City for 16 years. I myself have served Mid City as the Executive Director of Mid City Redevelopment Alliance for 12 years and have seen the event progress into what it is today.

From 2013 to 2017, a one percentage point increase in homeownership rates in Baton Rouge census block group resulted in a statistically significant decrease in combined assault, homicide, and robbery incidents of over 4.5% in relation to the average.

Bistro Byronz has a rich history as a local favorite of Baton Rouge. The concept originated in the ‘80s with a family-owned sandwich shop. It has been open for 13 years in Mid City.
