Sanders has been with Mid City Redevelopment Alliance since 2003 and became its third Executive Director in 2006. In 2016, the organization became a chartered member of NeighborWorks America, an accomplishment he considers one of his most significant achievements. Sanders previously served as the Director of Education and Community Relations for Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Louisiana. He completed his undergraduate studies at Christopher Newport University and earned a Master’s in Public Administration from Troy University. He is a licensed REALTOR.
Sanders is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge Business Report’s Top Forty Under 40 Class of 2009, and a 2014 John W. Barton Sr. Excellence in Non-Profit Management honoree by the Baton Rouge Area Foundation.
