Symphony Malveaux

's Bio

As the Community Relations Coordinator for Mid City Redevelopment Alliance and Mid City Merchants, Symphony specializes in implementing and administering effective outreach programs and events that empower residents to be their own neighborhood superheroes and voice of change.  Along with achieving her Master’s in Public Administration from Louisiana State University, she has also worked with organizations such NeighborWorks America and Build Baton Rouge to mitigate blight, promote economic growth, push for homeownership equity, and restore pride to disenfranchised neighborhoods within Mid City.

Symphony believes inclusivity and diversity among businesses and residents create a holistic approach to fighting gentrification.  Symphony aims to use her platform to develop public relation strategies that will promote the organization's mission, increase citizen engagement, fundraise, and promote local businesses. If you're looking for strategies, a platform, or  someone to listen that is excited about making social change. She's your woman!
